*This Time It's Personal*, the first collaboration between Hugh and Dr John Cooper Clarke, announced for release on 14 Oct 2016: ten hand-picked covers of the classic American and British pop the pair grew up with, by writers including Leiber & Stoller, Jimmy Webb, Ricky Nelson, Ritchie Valens and Conway Twitty. Produced by Hugh, who plays all guitars, it marked Cooper Clarke's debut as a lead vocalist at 67, with no spoken word. The idea began with Hugh hearing Richard Harris's "MacArthur Park" and imagining Cooper Clarke singing it

A November/December UK tour announced to mark the album: Cambridge Junction (26 Nov), London O2 Forum Kentish Town (29 Nov), Bristol O2 Academy (30 Nov), Birmingham O2 Institute (1 Dec), Manchester O2 Ritz (3 Dec), Sheffield Leadmill (8 Dec) and Glasgow O2 ABC (9 Dec); tickets on sale 10am Friday 22 Jul 2016
