Date corrected from a previously-assumed 10 Sep 1996 (guessed from the undated YouTube video title alone): the HIS Newsletter No 9 (Jan 1996), written "during the last week of January," describes the Midem appearance as having happened "last week," and notes it was Midem's 30th year — Midem is an annual January trade fair, and 1967 (its founding year) plus 29 gives 1996, confirming the event and this appearance both fall in January 1996, not September. The HIS Newsletter No 10 (Jun 1996) explains the source of the original 10 Sep confusion: footage from this January Midem performance was licensed to a French TV company and was set to air as a 1¼-hour concert special on French TV (MCM Television/Canal Satellite) at 5pm French time on 10 Sep 1996 — a broadcast date, not a second performance
